My Favorite Bakery

I buy a baguette at this bakery just about every day. You can buy a full baguette for 85 centime or a half baguette for 40 centime. They also change out their deserts everyday. Sometimes it will be the same desert but they are so creative with the presentation. It's always changing. I love it. They now know me as the American girl who takes pictures of their pastries.

I told them that I worked at a bakery in the US over the summer. Someone should send me pictures of the DB's display case so that I share it with them.

Kids say the darndest things

So aside from the fact that I hate my schedule and the vice principle is very unconcerned, my first actual class at the middle school went well. I have 15 students which is quite a large group, all of whom seemed very excited to speak in english and ask questions about my life in the US. They especially like personal questions like "how old are you?" "Do you have babies?" etc.

I showed them pictures of my house and there was a picture of Carson in there to which they replied "he's sexy". As I tried hard not to laugh I then had to explain the appropriate use of the word sexy. Oh what fun.
