I planted a little herb garden in my front window. I have cilantro, rosemary, mint, basil, bay leaf, and strawberries(not an herb, of course). They started out sooo tiny and over the last month they have begun to take over their entire pot. I've already eaten 2 delicious strawberries... yum! They make me so happy that I feel like a kid in a candy store, except for that I'm an adult, with a tiny herb garden.

BAM
The Brooklyn Academy of Music is showing a variety of Shakespearean productions this season and guess who has tickets!! Nick and I purchased tickets to Comedy of Errors, King Lear, and Macbeth. This past Sunday, while my mom was giving birth to my new brother, I was enjoying the cheap "cushion" seats at the Harvey Theatre. While I was afraid that the seats would be terrible, they actually turned out to be pretty nice. Nick and I thoroughly enjoy Comedy of Errors, then went out to a little french restaurant Autour du Monde. As it happens, this week is restaurant week in Brooklyn and so we also got to participate in a love prix fixe menu. Delicious food, great show, and a wonderful sunday in Brooklyn.
Here are a few pics that I took before the production began.

Sample Sale-in' @ United Bamboo
One wonderful day this past week, while working, one of the ladies announced "we're going to a sample sale!" And so, all 4 of us ladies, got up and headed over to United Bamboo. I guess this is my first designer sample sale and it was UH-mazing! I snagged a few great items at a super discounted price. Check them out...

Coffee and Tea Festival
It's no secret that I love coffee and tea, so this event was a must. As an added bonus, Groupon had tickets to the festival on their website for half off. AWEOSME!
Nick was interviewed about one of the coffees that we tested. The best was of course the turkish coffee... yum!

Ladies of the Subway
I've been trying to collect more photos before going through with this post but unfortunately without much success. Discrete subway photos are impossible and don't come out most of the time. I LOVE seeing all of the older women covered in fur. I guess that's one thing to look forward to when I'm an old lady. The best photo didn't come out very well. Partly because they were getting off and partly because Nick didn't realize that he had a wife. It was of a man and his wife and they both had on the puffiest fur coats and hats. Hers was bright red and completely awesome. You can kind of see it...
I think this might qualify as one of the best things I've seen on the subway.
This lady was adorable and reading a book about what to keep and what to get rid of in your closet. I think she should get rid of the book.

Relaxing
I have been desperately trying to relax as much as possible. It's kind of an impossible task though, as my project list is a mile long. So, I will dream of relaxing. Here is a photo of the exact place where you can mentally find me.
I wish I could remember where I found these photos, because the maker of these contraptions definitely deserves credit.
