Budapest

Budapest is Beautiful!  I would really like to spend a few months there and really experience the city.  This doesn't seem like the type of city to just pass through.  We went to some incredibly cool bars, which I don't happen to have photos of, stayed with some really nice gay men, and I distinctly remember eating mexican food one night.  It was a blast!

My best story about Budapest would have to be me, Nick, and Emanuel trying to interact with our couchsurfing hosts.  Emanuel and Nick thoroughly read through our hosts profile on CS in order to be able to strike up a conversation.  According to their profile, they really, really enjoy opera. So Nick and E tried talking to them about opera for as long as possible.  I, on the other hand, tried asking about the city... for example I asked "So, what do you enjoy doing around the city?" to which guy whose name I cannot pronounce said, "I like going to the baaaahhhhhhss" with a really strong british accent. And I excitedly respond "OH YEAH! We like going to the bars too.  Which ones do you recommend?" and he reproachfully replies(in strong british accent), "NOT the BAAAARRHHHSS, THE BAAAAATTHHHHHSSS(baths)."  Ooopps!
